#### Release Date and Pre-Order Information

FUT 25 was released on July 19, 2024. However, those who pre-ordered had the perk of playing three days early, starting on July 16, 2024.

#### Differences from NCAA Football 25

Is FUT 25 just NCAA Football 25 under a new name? In a way, yes, but with a key legal difference. The NCAA was previously accused of not compensating players for their likenesses in EA's games, leading to a lawsuit and the end of the series with NCAA Football 14. Therefore, FUT 25 is the 21st game in EA's non-NFL football series but no longer carries the NCAA name.

Due to the lawsuit, EA has been careful in securing real players for FUT 25. Players who agreed to be included receive a $600 flat payment and a copy of the game. #### Teams and Ratings
